For a long while, photography is something I’ve dabbled in and out of. However, it is not something I have really been so passionate about that I have spent large sums of money on it like a wedding photographer would need to. For example, I have a few friends who are actually both taking courses in photography and are always talking about the latest technology, such as lenses. I think that the main reason I never really got into photography is simply the cost of a high end camera. Buying a fairly simple DSLR and lens can run into hundreds or even thousands of dollars. This is probably something that puts of a majority of people like myself. Although, photography/social networking mobile applications such as “Instagram” are really starting to grow, I enjoy using these applications because of how quickly you can share your photos with friends online. I also like how there is access to a lot of filters, such as colour correction. Of course, there is always the standard “point and shoot” camera, which I often use myself for quick snaps. However, lately I’ve found myself using my phone more and more, simply because of all the features built into the device. |
